Training in Trailer Mechanics will prepare you to become a truck trailer repair specialist. You’ll acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to diagnose faults in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, running gear, coupling units and refrigeration units. As a trailer mechanic, you’ll be responsible for fleet maintenance and inspection, including general and preventive maintenance of trucks and trailers, as well as mandatory periodic inspections. Your versatility and expertise will enable you to work with a wide variety of systems and materials.
