Your apprenticeship will be practical and hands-on, taking place in a workshop, where you’ll work on mechanical and electrical components, as well as on heavy-duty vehicle systems. You’ll be trained to perform preventive and corrective mechanical work, inspecting vehicles to diagnose problems and find their source. You’ll learn how to make repairs, replacements and adjustments with precision, and how to carry out test runs to make sure everything’s working perfectly.
